Linda Walker was the winner of the quilt made of blocks from the 2018 people’s choice quilt block contest. Suzanne Sievers of the Stitch donated her time and material to create the full size quilt.
Proceeds from the quilt raffle, as well as the money used as votes in the 2019 quilt block contest, goes to the Greene County 4-H Foundation to benefit youth programming.
Pat Ruhnke’s block was found to be the favorite for 2019 based on a-penny-vote balloting. Carla Offenburger’s block was second.
The 2019 blocks were in shades of blue and yellow. They’ll be assembled into a quilt to raffle at next year’s Greene County Fair.
